A Hearty Golf Day Raises £1,250 for Jersey’s Heart Charities!
October 26, 2017
With the help of over 36 participants made up of patients, supporters and general golf lovers, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Group have raised a fantastic £1,250 for the BHF Jersey Branch & Jersey Heart Support Group.
The event, which took place at St Clement’s Golf Course, included an afternoon of golfing (with the help of the BHF Hearty Mascot) followed b a delicious spread of High Tea in the Club House, where prizes and the raffle was drawn. Participants were also offered free blood pressure checks upon arrival!
This is the first golf event hosted by the team, who are keen to make it an annual happening. The funds raised by the event will be split equally between the Jersey Heart Support Group and BHF Jersey Branch - whom work together to help beat cardiovascular disease, one of Jersey’s biggest killers.
The BHF Jersey Branch would like to say a huge thank you to all who took part, contributed amazing prizes and of course to the team who pulled together an outstanding feel-good day.
